GetVerified ("we", "us") runs getverified.online, a booking service that lets businesses take appointments and table, space or parking reservations through a QR code. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Business accounts

  • Name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • If you sign in with Google: your Google account name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password and we do not access your Gmail, contacts or files.
  • Business details you enter: business name, type, address, phone, opening hours, services and prices.

Customers making a booking

  • Name and at least one contact method you choose to give: email, phone number or WhatsApp number.
  • Booking details: business, service, date and time, notes you add, payment method and status.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure page and are never sent to or stored by us. We receive only the payment status and a Stripe reference.

Technical data

Our servers keep standard logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting. We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

  • To create and manage bookings and show availability.
  • To send booking confirmations and invoices.
  • To let the business you booked with contact you about your booking (for example by phone or WhatsApp to confirm you are coming).
  • To operate, secure and improve the service, and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

  • The business you book with sees your booking and contact details.
  • Service providers who help us run the service: Stripe (payments), our email delivery provider, Google (sign-in), and DigitalOcean (hosting).
  • Authorities when required by law.

Google user data

When you use "Continue with Google", we request only your basic profile (name, email, picture). We use it solely to create and sign in to your GetVerified account. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide the service, and we do not use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is active. Booking records are kept for as long as the business needs them for its records and accounting, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or close your account, through our contact form. Customers can also contact the business they booked with directly.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and payment and API keys are stored encrypted.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
